Health Minister taking part in 1st European Summit on Cancer Prevention in Poland

Health Minister Michael Damianos has departed for Poland, to represent Cyprus in the first European Summit on Cancer Prevention and Control.

An official announcement said that Damianos will address the Summit on 27 May.

In his intervention, the Minister will refer to the actions Cyprus is taking in the field of cancer prevention and treatment, both through programs that are implemented in the population as well as through the creation of a National Cancer Institute, it is added.
