From the back of a festively decorated truck, John Christodoulou, together with a team of volunteers from the Kaimakli Youth Association "Proodos", distributed generous gifts to children of all ages across all neighbourhoods of Kaimakli and the Vorios Polos area.
Over the weekend, the streets of the area filled with loud Christmas music, festive lights, the familiar “Ho Ho Ho” of Santa Claus, and a large convoy of vehicles. Surprised residents stepped out of their homes to experience an unexpected and joyful moment, as their children received plenty of gifts.
The Christmas tour lasted approximately three hours and was welcomed with great enthusiasm and warm applause.
As Christodoulou noted in his Christmas message: "Children must have dreams — they are incredibly important. When we have great dreams and work hard for them, they can become reality."
This Christmas initiative was carried out in the spirit of giving, love, and solidarity promoted by the Yianis Christodoulou Foundation - values that should guide us throughout the year, and especially during this season. Through practical support, personal time, and every form of contribution, big or small, each of us can offer what we can, a press release said.
