Content creator and influencer Margarita Orlova discussed the importance of authenticity, resilience and passion in transforming digital influence into a successful career.
Speaking at INSPIRE 2026, Orlova explained that her professional journey developed through accumulated experiences rather than one defining moment.
“My view on professional path is being open to opportunities and accumulating all the experiences, all the skills,” she said.
Originally from Latvia, Orlova grew up in Spain before relocating to Cyprus during the pandemic. “Now I'm very proud to call Cyprus my home,” she said.
Discussing content creation, she emphasised the extensive work behind online content, including strategy, copywriting and social media management, often handled by one individual.
“It can be a very lonely job sometimes,” she acknowledged, stressing the importance of commitment and a clear vision.
On maintaining authenticity, Orlova encouraged creators to adapt to evolving platforms without blindly following trends, remaining selective about collaborations and opportunities.
Offering advice to aspiring creators, she stressed perseverance despite slow initial progress.
“You definitely have to build resilience and clarity,” she said, adding that creators must remain curious, self-motivated and passionate enough to pursue their vision regardless of circumstances.
