As part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, the Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC) held a new voluntary blood donation drive on 11 November, aimed at boosting the reserves of the Blood Bank.
The event, which took place at the Bank’s premises in collaboration with the Ministry of Health’s Blood Centre, marks the third voluntary blood donation organised this year, fulfilling the CBC’s goal of conducting three blood drives annually.
"Promoting the idea of voluntary blood donation to support the Blood Bank’s reserves represents a tangible act of social contribution and solidarity by the Central Bank of Cyprus towards our fellow citizens," the CBC, posting the initiative on its social media.
