Costakis N. Lefkaritis, Executive Chairman of the Lefkaritis Brothers Group of Companies, has died

The Board of Directors of Petrolina (Holdings ) Public Limited and the Lefkaritis Brothers Group of Companies has announced the death of the Executive Chairman, Costakis N. Lefkaritis, who passed away on 20 October at the age of 82.

Costakis N. Lefkaritis was a prominent personality in the Cypriot business world, with many years of dedicated service to the Petrolina Group and the Lefkaritis Brothers Group of Companies.

His leadership, insight and values ​​formed the foundation for the growth and progress of the Companies and left an indelible mark on the business and social scene of Cyprus, the announcement on his death noted.

Costakis N. Lefkaritis was distinguished for his international action as Vice President and later Vice–President Emeritus of the World Federation of Consuls (FICAC) and Honorary Consul of the Republic of Zambia in Cyprus, consistently promoting the values ​​of cooperation, diplomacy and mutual respect.

His contribution also extended to sports, where he was a steadfast supporter and member of the Board of Directors of Apollon Limassol , contributing substantially to the strengthening and progress of the club.

  • Member of the Semi-Civil Council of Loan Committees (appointed by the Cypriot Government)

  • Municipal Councilor at the Municipality of Limassol

  • President of the Rotary Club of Limassol

Costakis N. Lefkaritis was married to Elena Lefkaritis with whom he had two daughters, Loula and Marina , and four grandchildren.
