A strong Cypriot representation is participating in the ICC Global Business Summit in India, joining over 500 high-profile delegates from more than 20 countries.
Described as Asia's foremost gathering of top business and government leaders, the Summit is an initiative by the Indian Chamber of Commerce and is taking place in Mumbai on 18 and 19 September.
Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation & Digital Policy Nicodemos Damianou will be giving a keynote speech, and the rest of the carefully-selected Cypriot delegation will be highlighting India-Cyprus business and investment opportunities in a roundtable discussion on economic collaboration and shared growth.
Participating in a panel discussion entitled ‘Fast-tracking India-Cyprus Business & Economic Relations’ are Chief Scientist Demetris Skourides; Invest Cyprus CEO Marios Tannousis; PwC Partner, Tax & Legal Nicos Chimarides; Secretary General of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry Philokypros Roussounides; Honorary Consul of Cyprus in Mumbai and Founder of PIVOT Management Consulting Pvt. Ltd. Viraj Kulkarni; and Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Centrique.AI. Silicon Valley, USA, Alakh Verma.
Manager, Banking Services, International Credit, Representative Offices, Eurobank, Cyprus and Secretary General of IGC Investment Council Panayiotis Chrysostomou will be the moderator.
High Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus to India Evagoras Vryonides and the Deputy Chief of Mission, High Commission of the Republic of Cyprus, New Delhi, Heraklitos Iosifides will also be addressing the session, Iosifides with opening remarks and Vryonides with a special address.
Damianou, meanwhile, will also be making an address during a Special Plenary Session on the Summit’s second day.
