Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, Nicodemos Damianou, is in India for a two-day working visit, accompanied by an extensive business mission.
According to an official announcement, within the framework of the visit, the Deputy Minister will have a series of meetings and contacts with government officials and business stakeholders, with the aim of promoting collaborations and the broader strengthening of Cyprus-India economic and business relations, with particular emphasis on the sectors of technology and innovation.
Damianou will participate in the international business conference ICC Global Business Summit 2025, where he will address a special session dedicated to Cyprus and Cyprus-India bilateral relations.
In addition, the Deputy Minister will take part in a special plenary session of the Summit, with emphasis on the strategic importance of Cyprus-India cooperation, at a geopolitical, regional and economic level.
As part of his visit, he will also visit the National Stock Exchange of India and the Indian Institute of Technology, aiming to exchange know-how and explore areas of cooperation in the fields of technology, innovation and investment.
The Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy will return to Cyprus on Friday, 20 September.
