Cypriot Roger Theophanous named 'Most Influential CEO 2025' for his innovation in cloud computing, LoLa
08:53 - 23 May 2025

Roger Theophanous, founder and director of LoLa-PC (Theo Technologies), has been awarded the title of 'Most Influential CEO 2025' by the international magazine CEO Monthly.

The award recognises his contribution to the world of technology with the revolutionary concept of LoLa Cloud PCs. With a simple app, LoLa users have access to Cloud computers from any device, like Netflix for computers.
The idea for creating LoLa PC was born when Theophanous, during his physics degree, did not have access to a high-performance computer for a university project. This obstacle prompted him to develop a solution that allows any device, smartphone, tablet or laptop, to be transformed into a powerful PC via the cloud, without the need to purchase expensive equipment.
The LoLa PC platform uses Cloud Servers combined with MoonShine Streaming Protocol technology, ensuring low latency and high resolution of Remote Desktops, making it ideal for demanding applications such as game development, AI development and 3D design.
To date, the company has attracted over 80,000 users worldwide and has secured funding of over €500,000, and Theophanous has received recognition from Innovate UK, Lancashire Business View as one of the 30 under 30, and now as the 'Most Influential CEO 2025' by the international magazine CEO Monthly.
The success of LoLa PC is an example of the potential that innovation from Cyprus can have in the international technology scene. Theophanous' award highlights the importance and need for solutions that bridge the gap between users and the demands of the modern digital age.
LoLa PC (Theo Technologies) is currently expanding to Cyprus and Greece and is looking for partners.
