The President, the Board of Directors and the staff of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) and Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) have expressed their sincere condolences on the death of the former President of the Republic, George Vassiliou, in separate announcements.
As stated in a post by the CCCI on X, "the President, the Board of Directors and the Staff of the CCCI express their sincere condolences on the death of George Vassiliou, former President of the Republic of Cyprus."
"There was a prominent personality who served the country with vision and dedication, contributing decisively to the political and economic course of Cyprus," the announcement concluded.

In its statement, OEB said that its President and Members of the Board of Directors expressed their sadness over Vassiliou's death.
As stated in its announcement, "the deceased provided invaluable services to our homeland and supported the interests of Cyprus with passion and dedication.
OEB also expressed its sincere condolences to Vassiliou's wife, family and all his relatives, the announcement concluded.
