Kition Tower: Construction work on Larnaca’s first high-rise gets underway (pics)

Construction work on Larnaca’s first high-rise building, Kition Tower in the centre of town, has gotten underway.

The 23-story tower, which will consist of 50 residential units (one up to five bedrooms), is being built by Psaras Construction, which has published photos of the cement being poured recently during the night.

Quality Group’s new high-rise is being built where the historic Kition hotel used to be. It is expected to become a landmark for the town, what with it being at the start of the Phinikoudes Beach stretch, with a view over the city.

The tower will include a restaurant, café, art gallery, bar, theatre and luxury shops.
