Larnaca Marina hosts intercommunal "Wind of Change" project

Larnaca Marina hosted the "Wind of Change" Project by Cypriot Olympic ski athlete Sofia Papamichalopoulou, through the IOC Young Leaders programme, with the support of the International Olympic Committee.

“Wind of Change” is an intercommunal programme that includes sailing circumnavigation in Cyprus with a crew of young people aged 18-35 from both communities.

The pioneering initiative aims to promote peace and unity in Cyprus by creating the first intercommunal Cypriot sailing team. Marina Larnaca served as the starting and finishing point for "Wind of Change" and celebrated the accomplishment with a welcoming party.
