Wizz Air has announced the launch of two new and routes coming up this winter season, and into the new year, with direct flights from Larnaca to Venice and Tuzla.
From 2 December 2025, flights from Larnaca to Venice will operate three times per week – every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday – with fares starting from just €19.99 (one-way, including all mandatory fees and one carry-on bag). From 31 March 2026, travellers will also be able to fly directly from Larnaca to Tuzla, with fares starting at €19.99 with tickets now available on wizzair.com.
Wizz Air has also announced the opening of flights from Thessaloniki to Tel Aviv starting on 28 October 2025, with flights from €75.99.
As noted in a Wizz Air press release, the historic city of Venice in Italy is one of the world’s most distinctive destinations, built on water and interlaced with canals. Its winding alleyways, bridges, and unique architecture make it both picturesque and full of character. With a rich cultural heritage and renowned cuisine, Venice has long been a favourite among travellers from Cyprus. Wizz Air now connects Larnaca to Venice with flights every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Located in northeast Bosnia, Tuzla is a city that surprises with its unique blend of history, industry, and culture. Off the traditional tourist trail, Tuzla offers adventurous travellers an authentic glimpse into Bosnia’s past and present, making it a destination of unlikely but captivating serendipity, the press release also notes.
Olivia Harangozo, Corporate Communications Manager at Wizz Air, expressed her enthusiasm for the new routes, “We are thrilled to expand our network from Larnaca with these two new routes, as well as strengthen our presence in Greece with flights from Thessaloniki to Tel Aviv. Venice has been a highly requested destination, while Tuzla represents a new and exciting addition for travellers eager to explore something different. With our low fares and growing network, Wizz Air continues to create more affordable travel opportunities for our customers across the region.”
