Cyprus participates in international VivaTech event in Paris for the first time

Cyprus has participated in the annual technology conference VivaTech for the first time, with a Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry information booth.

The Viva Technology annual conference took place from 11 to 14 June at the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre in Paris.

As stated in a statement by the Ministry, "with a significant turnout of visitors and many promising contacts, the Cypriot pavilion was a substantial opportunity to showcase Cyprus' strategic advantages and attract technology companies."

It is added that the visitors were informed, among other things, about recent developments in the country's rapidly growing technological ecosystem, as well as about Cyprus' role in the Eastern Mediterranean as an emerging regional hub in the fields of information technology and communications.

Participation in the VivaTech exhibition, the announcement concludes, "is part of the Ministry's broader effort to promote Cyprus as a regional and international business centre."
