The exit polls of the television channels, which were released at exactly 6pm as soon as the polls closed, demonstrated fierce battles between the parties.
The vote counting process, through which the actual election result will emerge, has begun at local polling stations and the situation regarding the percentages of the parties is expected to become clear at around 8pm.
The candidates who will be elected, however, will be clarified much later on, specifically in the early hours of Monday morning.
