Keravnos and Ambassador of Jordan discuss economy and regional developments

Minister of Finance Makis Keravnos has met with the Ambassador of Jordan in Cyprus, Basheer F. Zoubi, with whom he discussed the economy and developments in the region. 

In statements after the meeting, Keravnos said they exchanged views on all issues concerning the two countries, including the developments in the region that affect the two countries.

The two countries, he said, share a friendship and very good relations, adding that at the meeting they exchanged views on further promoting cooperation in the fields of economy, tourism, and investments.

"I hope that the relations will continue and our cooperation will become closer on all the issues that concern us," he concluded.

In his statements, the Ambassador of Jordan said that the meeting is part "of our great relations between our two countries at the highest levels" and recalled President Christodoulides' recent visit to Amman.

He noted that with the Minister, he had discussed the economy, the developments in the area, and the effect they have on both countries. 

"We want to work together for a better future for everyone," he said, noting the friendly relations between the two states.
