Total beer deliveries fell by 5.1% (or 413,256 litres) in August 2025 compared with August 2024, according to data released by CySTAT.
More specifically, beer deliveries from factories amounted to 4,517,959 litres in August 2025, compared with 4,931,215 litres in August last year.
Deliveries to the domestic market dropped by 7.2% year-on-year in August, while exports recorded a sharp annual decline of 35.9%.
In terms of volume, domestic beer deliveries fell to 4,390,437 litres from 4,732,410 litres in August 2024, while beer exports decreased to 127,522 litres from 198,805 litres in the same month last year.
Compared to July 2025, total beer deliveries were down by 721,301 litres, or 13.7%.
