INQUIRIUM Ltd: Innovating Education and Training through Inquiry

INQUIRIUM Ltd, a new SME in Cyprus, advocates that ‘everything starts with an inquiry’.

Named for this fundamental human impulse, INQUIRIUM nurtures the continuous exploration, construction of evidence-based explanations, and self-improvement. It does so by integrating research outcomes into innovative educational solutions and actions, creating meaningful learning experiences for students and the public.

The mission of INQUIRIUM, a multidisciplinary development, research, and outreach centre, is to cultivate multiple literacies, including scientific, physical, digital, and environmental. At the heart of this venture is a commitment to upscale human capital, stimulating citizens’ impulse to discover, inquire, understand, innovate, and flourish.

In a world where contemporary competencies are critical, INQUIRIUM stands out for its unique approach to education. Specializing in Science and STEAM Education, Sport and Exercise Science, Social Science in Sport, Physical Education, and Educational Technologies, it strives to lay a solid foundation for democratic, inclusive, and healthy societies. Its commitment to promoting equity, social cohesion, and active citizenship is only matched by its dedication to making lifelong learning a reality. In alignment with UNESCO priorities, reimagining education involves envisioning innovative approaches that go beyond traditional methods, aiming to create inclusive, student-centred learning environments that prepare learners for current and future challenges.

Cultivating Multiliteracies through Action

INQUIRIUM’s multifaceted work falls into four main categories:

EU-funded initiatives and projects: The INQUIRIUM team boasts cumulative expertise and experience in the design and development, management, and coordination of EU-funded projects within programs like Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, and Creative Europe. More than just executing projects, the team is driven by a mission to create tangible societal impact.

Educational Research: Employing a mix of tools and approaches, INQUIRIUM carries out educational research on a range of topics, contributing to the state-of-the-art analysis, implementation of research interventions, data analysis and interpretation, best practice research, evaluation and impact assessment, and policy design.

Learning design and assessment: Designing inclusive educational programs and curricula with a goal of equipping learners at all levels with current competencies, towards cultivating their scientific, digital, physical, and environmental literacy.

Training and capacity building: Designing and delivering tailored training programs for equipping individuals and organizations with the requisite knowledge, skills, and attitudes across diverse thematic areas. Key thematic areas of our programs aim to provoke enthusiasm in STEM fields and encourage the adoption of healthy and active lifestyles.
