Presenting Azia Resort & Spa

The award winning 5-star Azia Resort & Spa is more than just a hotel; it is a full resort and offers much more than hotel accommodation.

It has been awarded repeatedly by many international organisations in recent years and, in 2022, the Azia was included in the top 10% hotels worldwide by TripAdvisor.

Organisations that have repeatedly recognised the quality of the resort over the years include British Airways, TripAdvisor, Conde Nast Traveller, World Luxury Hotel Awards and many more.

The Azia has been a pioneer in sustainable luxury on the island since the 1990s. The eco-friendly resort has its own plantation, providing daily fresh produce to guests, and features award-winning interior design using natural and recycled materials. The 530,000 square-metre plantation includes around 15,000 trees and is located just a 10-minute drive from the hotel. There are extensive green lush areas indoors and outdoors. Creative innovations in the hotel’s operations help its waste management system and minimizes its carbon footprint.

Its privileged location directly on the seafront allows for magnificent views of the whole bay of Paphos and, facing directly the west, is the best spot on the island to enjoy breathtaking sunsets.

Facilities

The resort has a wide range of amazing facilities including 3 swimming pools, 6 restaurants (1 buffet restaurant and 5 different à la carte options) and 7 beverage outlets: 3 bars, 2 lounges, 1 snack bar and 1 stage area. The main Katoi Restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The à la carte restaurants are the Cipro Italian Restaurant, the Akamas Terrace with flame cuisine, the Oku Asian Restaurant and the Tree Deck with local cuisine (adults only). Why not try the new Coconut Terrace à la carte restaurant, offering a ribs-and-wraps casual dining menu.

The spa is a must to try. The multi-awarded Asphodel Spa is a hymn to nature, intriguing to the senses yet calming to the mind.

Large grounds with separate Family and Adults-Only sections ensure that both families and couples can have an unforgettable holiday experience.

Guests can relax by the large lagoon-shaped pool with its integrated baby pool and at the swim up sit-in-the-water bar. The elegant Adults-Only pool offers different levels with jet massaging water loungers and water seats. The indoor pool with its waterfall is cooled down in the summer and heated in the winter.

The extensive day activity and evening entertainment programme features 190 activities per week to choose from. Various activities during the day are for families, kids or adults only. Daytime activities usually include Walk on water, Archery, Aqua-Aerobics, Darts, Football, Keep-fit, French Boules, Table Tennis (including free equipment), Tennis (including free equipment, night lights chargeable), Volleyball, Water Polo, Shuffleboard, Zorb Ball Games, Diving (taster lesson), Aqua Fit, Zumba, Pool Games, Gym, Yoga and a Workout Room.

Children can join one of the complimentary children’s clubs. Younger ones are well looked after by qualified staff in the Nursery (6 months to 2.5 years) and Kids Club (2.5-12 years), both with a paging system. The Teens Club (12-18 years) offers outdoor and indoor activities during the day.

In the evening, there are live shows on the professional stage such as a fire show, acrobat show, etc. as well as Adults Only live music in the bar. The Kids club offers a kids disco and supervised kids movies while the Teens Night Club has video games, arcade games, a pool table, a mini-football table, computers, movies and disco lights. A complimentary nursery service is offered on selected nights.

Couples can have some peace and quiet away from the family areas in the dedicated Adults Only garden area by the Adults Only pool, which also has an Adults Only pool bar. The à la carte restaurants and the Cava Bar are Adults-Only after 9pm.

Accommodation

Rooms are about sophisticated, spacious living. There are various room types available for families, Adults-Only and a selection of Premium Accommodation for extra luxury. For guests looking for more privacy and indulgence, the Premium and Adults Only rooms are the ideal choice, with additional benefits and access to the Premium Lounge. The Premium Lounge is a complimentary Indoor lounge and outdoor seating area serving a small high quality continental breakfast until late, afternoon tea and coffee with savouries and cakes and pre-dinner aperitifs. The lounge has an espresso machine, a computer with Internet access, and a selection of magazines, newspapers, books and DVDs throughout the day.

The Azia has probably the best all-Inclusive offering in Cyprus with a Premium All- Inclusive package. Premium All-Inclusive guests have unlimited access to the Buffet restaurant and Coconut Terrace when open, twice-weekly visits to the Cipro Restaurant and additional twice-weekly visits to any of the other a-la-carte restaurants. There is a rich selection of branded international alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available in the bars. The minibar is stocked with complimentary local bottled water and orange juice (replenished daily). During the day, you can visit the Azia-To-Go snack bar for light meals.
