Fengaros Festival bringing music from all over the planet to Cyprus

Fengaros Festival is returning on 1-3 August bringing music from all over the planet to the traditional village of Kato Drys.

According to the event's organiser, Louvana Records, this 12th edition is promising an unparalleled festival experience. "Over three scorching summer days, across four stages with more than 60 acts in total, the festival is set to up the ante and take music lovers by storm once again," a press release notes.

Fengaros Festival year after year combines music from all over the world with the landscapes of Cyprus to create the utmost festival experience. Free camping in nature, sustainable food selections, refreshing drinks and non-stop music are all on the table.

Following Fengaros Music Village (25-30 July), the series of workshops leading up to the festival, the village of Kato Drys will be filled with life all in time for the biggest celebration of music on the island.

"This year’s lineup is a melting pot of genres and cultures with artists from three continents, as well as the cream of the crop of the local scene. Stepping on the Field Stage to headline the festival will be the incomparable and mesmerising Alice Phoebe Lou, the notorious Greek rapper Anser and Tamikrest with sounds from the Azawad desert. Koza Mostra will start up a party, Monsieur Minimal will take you back in time and the iconic Tterlikkas x Fuzz Bus will be back by popular demand.
The wonderful Berlin-based Melentini, French powerhouse Citron Sucré, the cinematic Electric Litany and the exhilarating Faizal Mostrixx from Uganda will light up the beloved Village Stage, along with Demetris Mesimeris and Alejjos amongst many others. The intimate CUPRA Museum will once again be home to experimental sounds and not only, while the Carlsberg Beer Garden will host an array of dynamic DJs for the entirety of the festival," the organisers go on to say.
