The debate on the approval of the package of bills on tax reform is currently under way in the House of Representatives, following their finalisation after extensive discussion at the Parliamentary Committee on Finance.
As already reported, the parties DISY, DIKO, EDEK and DIPA have reached an agreement with the Ministry of Finance to promote joint amendments aimed at improving the legislative framework.
Given that these amendments secure the necessary parliamentary majority, it is considered certain that the package of tax reform bills will be approved, and by a wide margin.
