“There’s a paradox when it comes to Cyprus; it is a small market but it has very interesting dynamics,” Michael Tyrimos, Founder and Managing Director said on the Trailblazers Podcast series by payabl. at INSPIRE 2025. “Although it’s small, it’s a very good testing ground.”
As he explained, many large corporations – from food to technology to finance – have tested their products and technologies on the island before launching worldwide. The reason? “Because the audience here is educated, they’re very adept when it comes to technology and they have certain habits that you would find in a very developed market,” Tyrimos explains.
