Retail trade up in May in value and volume on annual basis

Retail trade recorded in May an annual increase of 8.4% in value and 10.0% in volume.

According to CySTAT, the Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade, except for motor vehicles, for May 2025 increased by 8.4% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year.

For the same month, the Turnover Volume Index of Retail Trade increased by 10.0% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year.
