President introduces the three women "shaping public voice" of Cyprus’ EU Presidency

President Nikos Christodoulides has introduced the three women he says are shaping the public voice of Cyprus’ Presidency of the Council of the EU.

In a post on X, Christodoulides said, “Proud to introduce the three brilliant women shaping the public voice of Cyprus’ Presidency of the Council of the EU”.

He referred to Stella Michael, Spokesperson in Nicosia, Maria Phanti, Spokesperson for COREPER II, and Berna Berberoglou, Spokesperson for COREPER I.

The Republic of Cyprus will assume the Presidency of the Council of the EU for a second time on 1 January 2026, for a period of six months, as part of a Trio Presidency along with Poland and Denmark.
