PwC Cyprus professionals awarded national and global distinctions at ACCA exams

PwC Cyprus has held an award ceremony honouring seven of its professionals—trainees and ACCA members—for their outstanding performance in the ACCA exams held between September 2024 and March 2025.

The Wednesday, 18 June 2025, ceremony took place at the organisation’s Experience Center in the presence of PwC’s CEO, Philippos Soseilos and Anna Loizou, Partner and Chief People Officer. During the event, the awardees were recognised for their exceptional achievements, which reflect their high level of knowledge, commitment to professionalism, and pursuit of excellence.

The honorees were distinguished both nationally and globally, further highlighting the strong talent and capabilities within the PwC Cyprus team.

The awardees are:

  • Pablo Alexandrakis – ACCA Trainee
    ▪ 1st place in Cyprus and 31st worldwide in paper “Performance Management” (PM), September 2024 sitting
  • Ghina Kardas – ACCA Member
    ▪ 2nd place as “Top Affiliate” in Cyprus and 54th worldwide, September 2024 sitting
  • Eleni Antoniou – ACCA Member
    ▪ 3rd place as “Top Affiliate” in Cyprus and 64th worldwide September 2024 sitting
  • Thomas Thomaides – ACCA Member
    ▪ 1st place in Cyprus and 24th worldwide in paper “Advanced Financial Management” (AFM), December 2024 sitting
    ▪ 1st place as “Top Affiliate” in Cyprus and 72nd worldide, March 2025 sitting
  • Kyriakos Pelekanos – ACCA Trainee
    ▪ 1st place in Cyprus and 21st worldwide in “Financial Management” (FM), December 2024 sitting
  • Yuliana Gudovich – ACCA Trainee
    ▪ 1st place in Cyprus and 9th worldwide in “Strategic Business Reporting” (SBR), December 2024 sitting
  • Nikol Inkova – ACCA Member
    ▪ 2nd place as “Top Affiliate” in Cyprus and 45th worldwide, December 2024 sitting

During the event, the awardees were congratulated for their achievements, receiving applause and recognition from the Firm

Speaking at the ceremony, Anna Loizou praised the honourees and expressed the organisation’s pride in their accomplishments: “At PwC Cyprus, we invest in our people and support young professionals to they can continuously develop and acquire new skills.
