APOEL in investment discussions with Brazil's F8 Sports

The Board of Directors of APOEL has had a face-to-face meeting with the President of Brazilian company F8 Sports, Fabiano Pereira Da Costa, and his associate, Fernando Almeida, regarding their potential investment in the Nicosia team.

The discussions with the investment company are entering their second part, following the visit of APOEL's Board Chairman, Prodromos Petridis, to Brazil a few days ago. The arrival of the representatives of the F8 Sports company to Cyprus appears to confirm their strong will to become active within the football team as quickly as possible.

The Board of Directors has informed the team that it will present the framework of the agreement to the shareholders during APOEL's General Assembly on the evening of 24 June.

Below is the full English translation of APOEL's announcement and F8 Sports' announcement, which was in English, made on 24 June:

The Board of Directors of APOEL PODOSFAIRO (DIMOSIA) Ltd held an in-person meeting today with the President of F8 Sports, Fabiano Pereira Da Costa, and his associate, Fernando Almeida, who arrived late yesterday in Cyprus from Brazil.

This marks the second phase of discussions with the investment company, following a recent visit by APOEL Chairman Prodromos Petridis to Brazil a few days ago. The arrival of F8 Sports representatives in Nicosia confirms their strong desire to move forward swiftly with the process of establishing a partnership involving our team.

The Board of Directors informs the club’s supporters that, as required, the framework of the agreement will be presented to shareholders during tonight’s General Assembly of APOEL PODOSFAIRO (DIMOSIA) Ltd.

We welcome the representatives of F8 Sports to Cyprus with great joy and satisfaction.

Throughout the duration of the discussions, we were impressed by their positive approach and the respect they showed towards the name and stature of APOEL.

This reaffirmed our belief that APOEL is a club with great international recognition, even on the other side of the globe. Its growth potential and prospects present strong motivation for companies like F8 Sports to invest in the name of APOEL.

Following today's initial meeting on Cypriot soil, we share the first official statement from F8 Sports representatives Fabiano Pereira Da Costa and Fernando Almeida to our supporters:

Official announcement from F8 Sports

F8 Sports officially announces reaching an agreement on an investment partnership with the historic football club APOEL Nicosia. This agreement will be activated following a positive outcome of the Due Diligence process.

Recognising the size, history, and influence of APOEL, as well as its importance to Cypriot football and the wider community, F8 Sports expresses its intention to actively contribute to the club’s growth and development — on sporting, organisational, and commercial levels.

Our goal is to establish a strategic and sustainable collaboration, founded on principles of transparency, professionalism, and mutual respect, with the ultimate aim of strengthening the club’s presence in domestic and international competitions.

Initial discussions with the club’s representatives have already taken place, and our company is prepared to proceed with more detailed negotiations, presenting a comprehensive investment plan.

Further updates will be communicated in due course, in coordination with APOEL FC.
