Larnaka airport has been shoortlisted for the Routes Europe Award in the 5-20 million passengers category, alongside other major European airportsa, Hermes Airports shared through an announcement.
"We’ve been working closely with our airline partners to strengthen air connectivity and build mutually supportive collaborations," the airport operators said.
With the start of the summer season, Hermes added, they recognise the challenges affecting the region during this period and value their airline partners fro their continued trust in Cyprus as a destination.
As such, they reassured that Cyprus remains a "welcoming destination, offering genuine hospitality to travellers," while they continue working closely with other airlines to communnicate "the clear message that reflects the island’s calm, stable, and inviting reality."
