Number of job vacancies in first quarter of 2025 reached 13,524

The number of job vacancies in the first quarter of 2025 reached 13,524, recording an increase of 295 vacancies (2.2%) compared to the same quarter of the previous year where the number was 13,229, CySTAT has announced

Compared to the fourth quarter of 2024 the number of job vacancies increased by 527 (4.1%). 

The job vacancy rate in the 1st quarter of 2025 was 2.9%, while the job vacancy rate in the previous quarter and the 1st quarter of 2024 was 2.8% and 3% respectively, CySTAT figures show.

The largest job vacancy rates in the first quarter of 2025 were observed in the Sectors of Arts, Entertainment and Recreation (6.9%), Accommodation and Food Service Activities (5.2%) and Transportation and Storage (4.5%).
