Baker Tilly looks ahead at Europe Conference in Athens

Over 140 senior and emerging leaders from across the company’s extensive network are in Athens to participate in the Baker Tilly Europe Conference.
Themed ‘Leading Change, Creating Value’ and hosted by Baker Tilly South East Europe, the Conference began on 7 May and ends on 9 May, inviting participants to explore how, as noted in a company announcement on the event, Baker Tilly “navigates change with purpose, transforming it into innovation, collaboration and sustainable growth.”
"This conference in Athens goes beyond the agenda. It’s a chance to come together, exchange ideas, and define how we lead with purpose in a world of constant change" commented Marios A. Klitou, CEO of Baker Tilly South East Europe. “By bringing together the experience and vision of our network, we’re not just responding to change, we’re using it to shape a more ambitious, more connected future. Our ability to create value through change is what will distinguish us, and this conference is a critical step in that journey.”
The Main Plenary, held on 7 May, saw expert speakers from within the company, including Francesca Lagerberg, the CEO of Baker Tilly International, share their experiences and expertise as well as their vision for the company.
Former Deputy Foreign Minister Costas Fragoyiannis, who is now Greece’s Prime Minister’s Advisor on Extroversion, also addressed the Main Plenary, presenting Greece's impressive economic recovery and excellent future prospects to the international delegates.
Other speakers from within Baker Tilly’s growing network talked about their experiences in topics including consolidation, mergers and agreements through keynote speeches and a panel discussion. Among other things, the participants learned about the significance of AI and other new technologies while also being reminded to best leverage the benefits of being part of the Baker Tilly network.
CBN was invited to observe the conference and will be reporting on the event in more detail over the coming days.
