Ayia Napa Marina celebrates International Children’s Day with a special CSR initiative

To mark International Children’s Day, Ayia Napa Marina is launching the Corporate Social Responsibility initiative titled 'Meeting the Blue at Ayia Napa Marina for a good cause.'

As noted in a relevant press release, this action aims to offer an unforgettable sea experience for children and families, highlighting the Marina’s commitment to its social role and its interaction with the local community.

"As part of this initiative, the Marina is offering free boat rides along its scenic coastline, creating moments of joy, excitement, and connection. These short trips, organised by the Marina’s certified Operations Team, are designed to spark positive emotions and provide a memorable experience for all — with a special focus on children and families, though not exclusively," the announcement elaborates.

The initiative will run from 1 June to 30 September 2025. Excursions will take place as follows:

  • Weekdays: 2.30pm – 4.30pm
  • Weekends: 10am – noon & 5pm-7pm

Part of Ayia Napa Marina’s broader CSR strategy includes partnerships with local non-profit organisations, offering special participation slots for children and vulnerable groups. The first such partnership is with Monadika Xamogela, marking the start of a meaningful cycle of social initiatives.

The Pancyprian Association of Rare Genetic Disorders 'Monadika Xamogela' was founded by individuals with rare conditions, parents, friends, and health professionals who share deep concerns about the major needs faced by those with rare diseases.

These include early diagnosis, access to specialised care, coordinated support by health professionals, emotional and informational assistance. The Association’s mission is to identify, advocate for, and secure the rights of children and individuals with rare genetic disorders, raise awareness among the public and authorities, offer moral and social support, and act as a communication bridge between affected individuals and the wider community, schools, specialists, public health officials, hospitals, and relevant government departments.

"The choice of 1 June, International Children’s Day, as the official launch date is deliberate, reinforcing the symbolic power of the initiative and expanding its reach. It positions Ayia Napa Marina as an open, welcoming, and socially responsible destination that brings sustainable development to life through action," the press release said.

The 'Meeting the Blue at Ayia Napa Marina for a good cause!' initiative is a key pillar of the Marina’s CSR strategy and aims to leave a lasting positive impact on society. At the same time, it strengthens the Marina’s role as an experience-driven destination, not just for tourists and visitors, but for the communities that surround it, the announcement continued.

"In this way, Ayia Napa Marina once again proves that the role of a modern development project goes beyond infrastructure. It’s about empathy, inclusion, and giving back. A small journey at sea can bring a big smile — and this is just the beginning," it concluded.
