US Ambassador meets with the President of the Cyprus Olympic Committee at the Olympic House

The United States Ambassador, Julie S. Davis, recently visited the Olympic House, where she met with the President of the Cyprus National Olympic Committee, Georgios Chrysostomou.

According to an announcement by the Cyprus Olympic Committee, "During the 7 April meeting, they explored future cooperation and actions that can be taken in view of the upcoming Olympic Games to be held in Los Angeles in 2028, aiming to promote the Games and the Olympic Values."

Ambassador Julie S. Davis was given a tour of the Olympic House in the presence of the President of the COC, Georgios Chrysostomou, and the Secretary General, Yiotis Ioannides, and was introduced to the daily operations of both the Olympic Committee and the sports federations operating from the premises. She showed particular interest in the exhibits located in the outdoor areas as well as in the COC Museum.
