LIVE: Watch the presentation of the government’s tax reform plans live (video)

The presentation of the preliminary framework for tax transformation, prepared by the University of Cyprus’ Economics Research Centre (CypERC), is underway at the Presidential Palace.

Today's presentation, taking place in the presence of the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, marks the beginning of the countdown for the implementation of the tax reform, described as a major project of vital importance for the future of the Cypriot economy and, of course, the country’s the business environment.

The eyes of the business world are focused on the Presidential Palace, as stakeholders anxiously wait to hear the content and direction of the upcoming tax reform, one of the objectives of which is of course the strengthening of entrepreneurship and the further consolidation of Cyprus as an attractive investment destination.
