Government Spokesman: President to receive Holguin on 2 September
President Nikos Christodoulides is to receive the UN Secretary-General’s special envoy on Cyprus, Maria Angela Holguin, on 2 September, Government Spokesperson Konstantinos Letymbiotis has told CNA.
Asked about reports on Holguin’s meetings on the island next month, Letymbiotis said that arrangements were being made for a meeting between President Christodoulides and Holguin on the morning of 2 September.
In the meantime, the agency has learnt that Holguin is expected to be in Cyprus between 1 and 6 September, though the dates are yet to be confirmed.
