Atlantica Hotel Management evolves into Wavemaker Hospitality with expanded brand portfolio

Atlantica Hotel Management has announced its rebranding to 'Wavemaker Hospitality,' described as a dynamic house of brands in exceptional destinations in the Mediterranean region.

"This marks the beginning of a new era in the company’s journey and represents the significant growth and development of the Group," a relevant announcement noted.

According to the same announcement, Wavemaker Hospitality will oversee a portfolio of distinct brands, "including the renowned Atlantica Hotels & Resorts, Mare Resorts, Aphrodite Hills Cyprus and the newly introduced Aphi Resorts and Amoh Rhodes. Each brand is unique in its values, characteristics, client focus and pillars, while embodying Wavemaker Hospitality’s core principle."

When announcing the new brand, the Joint CEO of Wavemaker Hospitality, Dimitris Nicolaides stated that ‘‘Wavemaker Hospitality is a progressive hospitality group with a promise to make waves in the industry through people, places and purpose.’’

The incentive of this new venture was conceived consequent to the pandemic; as the company observed evolved travel trends, changes in booking patterns, and consumer needs. Thus, it was concluded that evolution and innovation were required to align with the new reality and meet the market’s needs.

The company aims to create genuine connections and deliver exceptional memorable experiences between guests and destinations, the announcement said.

As the Joint CEO, Dimitris Nicolaides highlighted, ‘‘Our values are still rooted in what matters the most: the sea, the people and our future, all interconnected by trust.
