Shipping Deputy Minister in Egypt to strengthen cooperation

Deputy Minister of Shipping Marina Hadjimanolis is visiting Egypt following an official invitation from the Egyptian Minister of Transport, with whom she will discuss further strengthening cooperation between the two countries, in the field of maritime transport.

According to an official press release, during her visit, she will meet with the President and CEO of the Suez Canal Authority.

The Deputy Minister will also visit Alexandria, at the invitation, of the Arab Academy of Science, Technology and Maritime Transport where she will hold a meeting with the President of the Academy and sign a Memorandum of Understanding.

During her stay in Alexandria, the Cypriot official will meet with the Governor of Alexandria, as well as representatives of the local maritime community.
