Reshuffles in the leadership pyramid of MAS Supermarkets have been brought about by the departure of the chain's General Manager, Loukas Zouridis, who is preparing to take his next professional step soon.
According to InBusinessNews sources, the position of General Manager of MAS Supermarkets will, in early October, be taken over by Sofia Miltiadou, who is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and holds an MBA from CIIM and a BSc in Accounting and Finance from Bristol University in the UK.
Miltiadou began her career at KPMG London and, upon her return to Cyprus, she continued an excellent career path in important companies as CFO, board member and general manager. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of ECR Cyprus.
She assumed duties as General Manager of Commercial Operations of Charalambides Christis in 2014, managing the largest team of warehouses, sales network and professional drivers in Cyprus, which works on a 24-hour basis to continuously supply fresh essential products to over 2,500 locations in Cyprus.
As InBusinessNews has been further informed, the relevant announcements regarding Zouridis' departure and the hiring of Miltiadou as General Manager of MAS Supermarkets are expected within the next few hours.
