Industrial production in Cyprus up by an annual 5% in November

Industrial production in Cyprus rose by an annual 5% in November driven upwards by gains in all sectors, CySTAT has said.

According to data published by CySTAT the Index in November reached 138.5 units (base 2015=100), recording an increase of 4.8% compared to November 2022.

For the period January – November 2023, the index recorded an increase of 2.5% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

The manufacturing sector registered an increase of 3.2% compared to November 2022, whereas the sector of water supply and materials recovery jumped by 30.6%. Electricity supply rose by 7.8% and mining and quarrying by 6.0%, CySTAT added.
