InterMaritime Shipmanagement and ARI Simulation partner up to modernse crew training

Dieter Rohdenburg, CEO of Cyprus-based InterMaritime Shipmanagement, and Pawan Bagga, SVP of ARI Simulation (Business Operations) based in India, recently signed an agreement to modernise the Bridge and Engine Simulation Training for the InterMaritime Group.

ARI will deliver its modern cloud-based engine and bridge simulator solution along with a Physical Engine and Bridge Simulator for classroom training. The physical simulator will be located at Intership Navigation Training Center.

The comprehensive training solution will include STS, Ice Navigation and training on the latest engine models for dual fuel ships.

“This arrangement allows InterMaritime to conduct simultaneous joint training using both the classroom simulator and the cloud-based solution,” InterMaritime said on its LinkedIn. “This strategic move aims to upskill and ensure the competence of InterMaritime crew worldwide, whether through in-class simulation or from the comfort of their home.”

The agreement signing was attended by Giovanni Tuapin, President of Intership Crew Philippines; Dieter Rohdenburg, CEO of InterMaritime Shipmanagement; Pawan Bagga, SVP of ARI Simulation (Business Operations); Capt. Rene Dzicki, InterMaritime Shipmanagement Group Training Director; Capt. Robert De Jose, Training Director of Intership Navigation Training Center; and Dr Jeff Rex Calambuhay, President of Intership Navigation Training Center.
