Turnover value in services up in Q2 y-o-y

The turnover value in services increased in the second quarter of 2023 compared to the same quarter last year, as all sectors of economic activity in services strengthened, with the largest annual increase presented in accommodation and food service activities at 19.4%.

According to Cystat, the Turnover Value Index in Q1 of 2023 recorded year over year increases in the sectors of accommodation and food service activities (19.4%), administrative and support service activities (12.9%), information and communication (11.1%) and professional, scientific and technical activities (2%).

Also, during the period January-June 2023, increases relative to the corresponding period of 2022 were observed in the indices of accommodation and food service activities (23.5%), administrative and support service activities (15.2%), information and communication (6.2%) and professional, scientific and technical activities (5.8%).
