New €400,000 banquet hall to be built in Nicosia

The Environmental Authority has given its approval for the construction and operation of a new reception and banquet hall in the community of Ayioi Trimithias in Nicosia, a development with an estimated cost of €400,000.

The project will include a hall with a ground floor area of ​​550 sq.m., a swimming pool (5 meters x 10 meters), and 69 parking spaces, of which five will be for people with disabilities.

More specifically, the proposed development is set to include:

  • Catering space: 550 sq.m.
  • Swimming pool (5 meters x 10 meters): 50 sq.m.
  • Parking space (69 cars): 770 sq.m

The purpose of the proposed project

According to the Environmental Impact Study filed by the developer, the proposed development would host four events each month during the weekend, with a maximum of 350 people per event.

The event hall is expected to host 9,800 people annually.

Also, an event can be organised outside the weekend if requested. The events will take place inside the building during the summer and winter months.

Access to the proposed project will be via Ayios Trimithias Avenue (B9).

Construction work on the proposed project is estimated to begin with the issuance of all necessary permits and will last approximately one year.
