A new KYΠΡΙΑΚΟΝ restaurant has opened at Fig Tree Bay in Protaras, one of Cyprus’s most well-known beaches. The bay is named after a distinctive fig tree that local tradition says has been in the area since the 17th century. With its golden sand, turquoise water, small islet just offshore and Blue Flag status, it is among the island’s most familiar coastal spots.
This is the second KYΠΡΙΑΚΟΝ outlet, the first is in Limassol’s old harbour. The brand describes its concept as a modern take on Cypriot food and hospitality.
Menu inspired by Cyprus and the Mediterranean
The menu is based on Cypriot and Mediterranean cuisine, with fresh fish and seafood, oysters, premium grilled and charcoal-cooked meats, traditional dishes and seasonal items using local produce. The drinks list includes selected Cypriot and international wines, as well as cocktails.
The restaurant is open daily from morning until evening, serving lunch and dinner. It occupies the site that previously housed Fig Tree Bay Antonis Zefkas and is located next to the new Caffè Nero in Protaras. Both are part of PHC Franchised Restaurants Public Ltd.
