Huge response to RIF’s Disrupt programme, new closing date announced

Due to increased interest in its Disrupt programme, the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) has announced a new deadline for the submission of applications.

The original deadline expired on 1 December with the submission of 10 proposals thus far. The new closing date (3rd deadline) has been set for 22 March 2024 and an additional €3m budget has been allocated for this new deadline.

Disrupt is the first of its kind blended financing programme in Cyprus. The programme combines public funding with private equity to support the exponential growth of businesses in the international markets.

Cypriot companies are proving time and again that they can innovate and expand internationally. The RIF supports their efforts with a wide array of financial tools and support services.
