High-level meeting between CySEC and Polish counterpart KNF in Nicosia

A high-level meeting took place between the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) and its Polish counterpart, the Komisja Nadzoru Finansowego (KNF), at CySEC’s offices in Nicosia on 26 October.

The delegations, comprising senior officials and respectively headed by CySEC Chairman George Theocharides and Vice Chairman George Karatzias, and KNF Deputy Chairman of the Council Rafal Mikusinki, presented each authority’s supervisory approach and discussed the current regulatory and economic environment, CySEC said in a press release.

They also exchanged recommendations on how to reinforce cooperation between the two commissions.
