“Within Property Gallery’s vision, AURA is set to rise as the tallest building in Cyprus and across the wider Mediterranean - a bold new landmark destined to define the Limassol waterfront for generations to come,” Lyra Amvrosidou, the Executive Director, Property Gallery Developers and Constructors Ltd has revealed.
The new structure will be built on Limassol’s coastal road, some 100m from the sea, at the location of the former Ermes department store.
Speaking to CBN, Amvrosidou discussed the company’s plans in connection to the milestone project, among other things, revealing its anticipated timeline.
“Property Gallery is currently preparing the site, with demolition works planned to be completed by the end of 2026. Construction is expected to commence in 2027 - marking the beginning of a truly transformative chapter for Limassol’s skyline. Further details on the full construction timeline will be announced as this landmark project progresses,” she said.
When it comes to the project’s budget, the Executive Director said that it would not be disclosed at this time, stating, “What can be said is that AURA is conceived as an investment of a scale befitting its ambition - to create a landmark without precedent in the region.”
On the scope of the project meanwhile, Amvrosidou commented, “AURA is envisioned as an extraordinary landmark mixed-use development, rising on the first line of the Limassol waterfront. Developed in close collaboration with Foster + Partners, it will unite luxury residences with an exceptional range of services and amenities - a project conceived not merely to be built, but to redefine what waterfront living can mean.”
She also underlined that, “The concept offers a fully integrated lifestyle: a fitness centre, spa, private meeting rooms for residents, a pharmacy, and curated healthy dining options, all woven seamlessly into the residential experience. More details about this remarkable development will be revealed as it takes shape.”
