The traditional concept of perimeter security is being challenged by a digital world in which information and files constantly move beyond organisational boundaries.
A file may appear completely legitimate. It may have the right name. It may come through a seemingly trusted channel. It may even open normally.
But that does not mean it is safe.
File-based threats can exploit precisely this trust, moving through everyday workflows and creating a significant gap in traditional security defences.
The question, therefore, is changing.
It is no longer simply “How secure is our perimeter?”, but also “What are we allowing to pass through it?”
Prevention First: Before the Threat Becomes an Incident
In his presentation, Alexandru Ghioca will explore why traditional perimeter-security assumptions are no longer sufficient and how protection at file level can serve as a first line of defence.
