Phivos Frangos:
Always Chasing the Next Challenge
When Phivos Frangos graduated from Frederick University as a Civil Engineer, Cyprus was experiencing the 2013 financial crisis. While many young engineers waited for opportunities to return, he decided to create his own. After being awarded one of only four scholarships offered by the Chinese Embassy, he moved to Beijing to pursue a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering. Living and studying in China exposed him to a completely different way of thinking about engineering, sustainability and urban development. It was an experience that challenged his assumptions and broadened his perspective far beyond the classroom. But for someone with an inherently restless curiosity, Beijing was never intended to be the final destination. It was the beginning of a career defined by seeking out environments where the stakes were higher, the challenges greater and the learning never stopped.
The next opportunity took him to Qatar, where he joined teams delivering projects that few engineers have the opportunity to experience during their careers – from luxury residences, valued at more than €80 million for members of the royal family, to major infrastructure developments. For Phivos, this was exactly the kind of environment he was looking for.He enjoys complexity. Tight deadlines, demanding technical challenges and high expectations are not obstacles to overcome but the conditions in which he performs at his best. Every project is another opportunity to learn, improve and solve problems that have never been solved in quite the same way before.

Responsible for the technical maturation of every development, he leads the process that transforms ambitious architectural concepts into technically robust, buildable projects. The next challenge is what keeps him moving. It is one of the reasons he feels so closely aligned with bbf:. Andreas Siamtanis:
Leading the Vision with Excellence
If Phivos Frangos is driven by the challenge of solving complexity, Andreas Siamtanis is energised by the opportunity to create excellence. With 25 years’ experience in property development and eight at bbf:, he has played a key role in shaping the company’s expanding portfolio while growing alongside the organisation itself. His journey – from Design Development to Head of the Department and, for the past four years, Development Director – reflects both his own evolution and bbf:’s culture of recognising talent and rewarding initiative.
For Andreas, bbf: is where his ambitions found the right scale. Fast-moving, demanding and entrepreneurial, it is an environment where every project presents another opportunity to create something meaningful and see it through from concept to completion. Development, however, has never been about managing projects. It is about creating them. Every project begins with a vision and a blank page. From there, hundreds of decisions shape its future. Concepts become designs, designs become construction sites and, ultimately, places where people will live, work and create memories. “Every project, big or small, teaches you something. That’s what keeps the work exciting, that’s what keeps me motivated,” he says.
His role demands strategic thinking, decisive leadership and the ability to bring people together around a common objective. Architects, engineers, consultants, contractors and project managers each contribute different expertise but success depends on how effectively they work as one team. That belief in collaboration defines his leadership. Whether overseeing a landmark mixed-use development or a smaller residential project, Andreas approaches each with the same commitment.

Andreas shapes the development strategy and drives projects from inception to completion. Phivos ensures every concept is technically sound and ready for execution. Christos leads project management and construction, transforming plans into completed developments.
