easyCourier, the newest addition to the easyGroup family of companies owned by Stelios Haji-Ioannou, officially launched in Cyprus on Thursday, promising "smarter, faster, and friendlier" delivery services across the island.
The courier service, which operates its own fleet of drivers, announced the launch via social media.
“We’re proud to bring smarter, faster and friendlier deliveries to the island, now backed by the power of the easy family of brands,” the post read, adding that the service offers “from same-day parcels to everyday convenience – we’re here to make delivery… easy.”
easyCourier leverages proprietary technology from Svelta Ltd to provide seamless door-to-door solutions for individuals and businesses.
Svelta CEO Christis Plastiras announced in September the closing of a €850,000 funding round backed by angel investors.
The collaboration builds on Svelta's earlier success on Dragons' Den Greece, where it secured €70,000 in funding.
This launch marks a significant step for local logistics, combining easyGroup's brand strength with Svelta's innovative tech to challenge Cyprus's delivery market.
