Zubr Capital, a growth equity firm investing in global technology companies and which operates as a local entity in Cyprus, has announced that its portfolio company, Zing Coach, has entered a strategic partnership with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) until 2027, bringing AI-powered, player-inspired fitness experiences to one of the world’s largest fan communities.
Through the collaboration, PSG supporters will gain access to adaptive training programs inside the Zing Coach app, modeled on routines used by players from both the women’s and men’s teams. Fans will be able to track their progress, access exclusive guidance inspired by the Club’s elite coaching staff, compete on global leaderboards, and unlock rewards including VIP match experiences and signed memorabilia.
All the while, Zing Coach’s proprietary AI technology will tailor various elements of the user experience, from workout planning to real-time motivational support.
The partnership launches against the backdrop of a growing global inactivity challenge. While football attracts more than five billion viewers worldwide, around one-third of the global population does not meet recommended physical activity levels. By connecting elite sport with accessible, personalized training technology, Zing Coach and PSG aim to help close the gap between watching sport and actively participating in it.
With more than 500 million fans worldwide and over 230 million social media followers, Paris Saint-Germain provides an exclusive platform to scale Zing Coach’s mission of making high-quality fitness guidance available to everyone.
“Partnering with Paris Saint-Germain, the most decorated Club in the history of French football offers access to a vast, global fanbase of potential users. Creating a unique opportunity to connect with their Club and explore daily workouts shaped around those of their favorite stars, we hope to motivate millions to take the first step in their physical health journey, and to pick up lasting habits that improve their health and quality of life,” says Anton Marchanka, CEO at Zing Coach.
For Zubr Capital, the partnership represents another major milestone in its portfolio growth and the broader strategy of supporting tech companies that successfully apply AI to international markets.
“What makes this partnership particularly important is not only the scale of Paris Saint-Germain’s global fanbase, but the way technology enables a new form of engagement. Zing Coach demonstrates how AI can help transform fan engagement into active, personal participation, which we see as a strong indicator of the company’s long-term international growth potential,” says Oleg Khusaenov, CEO at Zubr Capital.
