George Michael: Business leaders who dared, envisioned and excelled are being recognised

Awards recognise business leaders who dared, envisioned, and have respect for good business, their customers and society, managed to excel, the CEO of IMH George Michael has said, speaking in the context of the 12th KEBE Business Leader Awards, jointly organised by the Cyprus Chamber of Chamber & Industry (CCCI-KEBE) and IMH and presented by Genikes Insurance.

These, as he said, are strong personalities, leaders who believed in themselves, loved what they do and are role models for younger entrepreneurs or professionals. "Today's awardees lead pioneering, innovative and successful organisations that employ thousands of workers. But above all, they are business leaders who are appreciated by their staff, their clients, their partners and Cypriot business in general," he emphasised.

Welcoming the guests to the 12th KEBE Business Leader Awards co-organized by the CCCI and IMH, he pointed out that for 12 years this institution has been rewarding business leaders for their long-term contribution to the development of their sector of activity and of Cypriot business in general.

"At IMH we have the opportunity and honour to collaborate with all of tonight's awardees. We know their business stories and successes, but most of all we know the people behind these stories. What fascinates us behind the business successes are the personalities of Cypriot business. We experience these personalities every day: we share their visions with them, their ambitions, their perseverance, their joys and successes. However, also we share and understand their daily struggle, their stress, their worries and concerns, their concerns," the CEO of IMH noted, among other things. 

"You should all feel proud of your work and achievements," he said, expressing his gratitude and congratulations to those who will be awarded tonight.

George Michael also warmly thanked the sponsors: Genikes Insurance, which presenting the institutin for another year, European University Cyprus , Sklavenitis, Primetel , OPAP Cyprus and Omega.

He also expressed his great thanks to the CCCI for the excellent cooperation, with special thanks to the President of the CCCI, Stavros Stavrou, and the awards evaluation committee.
