The Plenary of the House of Representatives has unanimously approved the ratification of the agreement on the delimitation of the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) between Cyprus and Lebanon, with 31 votes in favour.
The agreement was signed on 26 November in Beirut by the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, and the Minister of Transport of Lebanon, in the presence of the President of Lebanon.
During the 4 December Plenary session, MPs from all parties welcomed the agreement as a very positive development and a "historic" achievement.
