ARTE, the first Higher Education Music Academy in Cyprus, has partnered with Muse Group, a global leader in music technology and publishing, with aim "to make music creation and education more accessible worldwide and to inspire and support the next generation of musicians".
The new Publishing House will represent Cypriot composers as well as those currently residing in Cyprus, and will be hosted online through MuseScore, Muse Group’s sheet music ecosystem, providing international distribution and visibility to participating artists.
The initiative is hailed as a major step forward for Cyprus' music community — the initiative opens the door for local musicians to place their scores on an international stage, expanding the opportunities available to Cypriot composers in a meaningful new way.
The partnership is designed to support both professional and aspiring musicians. Established composers gain global visibility through the Publishing House, while students of ARTE Music Academy receive access to Muse Group's creative tools, including MuseScore, Ultimate Guitar, Audacity, and MuseHub.
There, they can explore and collaborate on new creative projects that bridge traditional and digital musicianship, and also to get new opportunities for learning, composition and artistic connection.
